Empowering Small Businesses with I Scream Marketing, Legacy Centre of Excellence and Natwest Bank Partnership

The Challenge

In a dynamic collaboration aimed at nurturing small business growth, I Scream Marketing, the Legacy Centre of Excellence, and the NatWest Bank Business Growth Hub joined forces. This partnership was designed to address a critical need within the entrepreneurial community: the development of robust business plans to secure funding and foster sustainable development.

What we did?

The primary goal was to create a comprehensive campaign that not only educated entrepreneurs on the essentials of business planning but also provided them with the tools and resources to successfully obtain funding. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between budding businesses and the financial support necessary for their growth.

Strategy:
I Scream Marketing spearheaded a multi-faceted campaign leveraging both digital and in-person channels. The strategy was built on three pillars:

Educational Workshops: Hosted at the Legacy Centre of Excellence, these sessions were led by experts from NatWest’s Business Growth Hub. They covered crucial topics such as market analysis, financial forecasting, and pitching to investors.

One-on-One Mentorship: Participants had the opportunity to receive individualized guidance from seasoned business consultants. This personalised approach helped refine their business plans and tailor their funding applications.

Digital Resource Hub: I Scream Marketing developed an online platform featuring templates, guides, and success stories. This repository provided ongoing support and inspiration for entrepreneurs navigating the funding landscape.

The campaign was rolled out over six months, with each phase meticulously planned to maximise engagement and impact. Marketing efforts included targeted social media campaigns, email marketing to a curated list of small business owners, and engaging content marketing strategies to drive traffic to the digital resource hub.

Results

Over 200 small businesses participated in the educational workshops, with 85% reporting a significant improvement in their understanding of business planning and funding acquisition.

The one-on-one mentorship program was fully booked within the first two weeks, with 50 businesses receiving personalized advice.

The digital resource hub received over 5,000 unique visits in the first three months, with users praising its practicality and ease of use.

Post-campaign surveys indicated that 60% of participants successfully secured funding or were in the process of finalizing agreements with investors or banks.

Conclusion

The collaboration between I Scream Marketing, the Legacy Centre of Excellence, and NatWest Bank's Business Growth Hub has significantly impacted the small business community. By equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and resources to develop compelling business plans, the initiative has laid a solid foundation for sustainable business growth. This case study exemplifies how strategic partnerships and targeted marketing campaigns can create meaningful opportunities for business development and economic advancement.
